I've been happy with this product so far. I pack the bottom completely full with white rice, then put some sort of stew-like food in the top compartment, and then I mix them as I eat.

To secure it, I wrap a normal rubber band around the long end, and I slide a Hoover 40201160 vacuum cleaner belt around the shorter end. It's the perfect size, and keeps the lid tight and snug.

My friend got me this for my birthday, along with a pair of matchy chopsticks.
I just ADORE it, and it's the perfect size for a meal! I love the way that these
make you eat less, and let's face it, in this culture, where supersize is a regular
size now, we could do with smaller portion sizes! So I'm super glad to have this!!
I love it!

If you read my review on Kotobuki Seal Bento, you'll see why the design on top is not dishwasher safe. Also, this one didn't come with a band which is OK but annoying...you can make one or use one from another bento but it really should come w/ one as the top does not fit snugly over the bottom.

Holds a lot of food and is adorable.
